A Housekeeping Room Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry operations by handling guest requests, analyzing each request, and delegating tasks among team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and guest experiences are exceptional.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will support the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by delegating daily activities to maintain high standards. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high operational standards in Housekeeping and Laundry according to hotel brand standards
  • Monitoring the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, emphasizing training and teamwork
  • Managing room availability and release for guest service in coordination with Housekeeping supervision
  • Controlling department operations, including employee scheduling, key control, incident logging, and linen management
  • Checking guest information in CRM daily to meet guest preferences and requests
  • Requesting flowers for special occasions and providing embroidered linen for events
  • Managing Lost and Found items and donations monthly
  • Checking and sending uniforms for cleaning or repair
  • Coordinating document and personnel traffic within the department, including daily linen release from laundry
  • Handling guest laundry services and monthly laundry expense reporting
  • Replacing Laundry Attendants during absences or days off
