Job description

A Housekeeping Room Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry operations by addressing guest requests, analyzing each request, and delegating tasks among team members to ensure efficient and timely service, thereby providing an exceptional guest experience.

What will I be doing?

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will assist the Housekeeping and Laundry teams by delegating daily activities within the hotel. Specifically, the Room Attendant will:

  1. Maintain high standards in Housekeeping and Laundry, adhering to hotel brand standards.
  2. Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of team members, focusing on training and teamwork.
  3. Assist in maintaining room availability and releasing rooms for guest service in coordination with Housekeeping Supervision.
  4. Control departmental operations, including employee scheduling, master key management, incident reporting, and linen and uniform handling.
  5. Check guest information in CRM daily to meet their preferences and requests promptly.
  6. Arrange flowers for special occasions and handle embroidery for linen as needed.
  7. Manage monthly Lost and Found items and donations.
  8. Ensure uniforms are cleaned and repaired as necessary.
  9. Coordinate document and personnel traffic within the department and manage daily linen releases from Laundry.
  10. Oversee laundry service for guests, including daily clothing releases.
  11. Conduct monthly laundry expense and supply reconciliations.
  12. Fill in for Laundry Attendants during absences or days off.
