Job summary

PPOAR in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to lead the housekeeping team, ensure clean guest rooms and public areas, and maintain safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of relevant experience, is willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and demonstrates strong organizational, customer service, and communication skills. Salary is 1,800 AED per month.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate housekeeping staff to ensure high levels of performance
• Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Ensure all standards of cleanliness and safety are met
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet the highest standards of cleanliness
• Plan and coordinate special events, such as VIP arrivals or special occasions, to ensure a smooth running of the department
• Keep accurate records of inventory levels in order to ensure proper supplies are available at all times
• Monitor budget for supplies, equipment, and salaries to maximize efficiency within the department
• Handle customer complaints promptly and efficiently
