Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay in Dubai. You will lead a housekeeping and laundry team, ensure rooms and public areas meet guest expectations, and manage supplies and budgets to maximise profitability.

You will coach staff, maintain standards, and ensure compliance with local laws, IHG brand standards, and safety guidelines while delivering memorable guest experiences in a premium hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience leading a housekeeping team and operations.
• Degree or diploma in hospitality or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a housekeeping and laundry team.
• Ensure public areas and guest rooms meet standards.
• Maintain and order supplies while minimizing waste to support sustainability.
• Assist with budgets to maximise profitability.

The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay, a cluster of hotels, is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our extraordinary team! Conveniently located in the heart of Dubai’s Business Bay area, home of the Burj Khalifa! Minutes away from The Dubai mall, renowned Jumeirah Beach, and with convenient access to all of Dubai’s world leading tourist attractions. The Holiday Inn & Staybridge Suites Dubai Business Bay will include 275 hotel rooms as well as 120 one- and two-bedroom apartments, convenient F&B offerings & meeting and events facilities.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Managing, coaching, and developing a team dedicated to exceptional housekeeping and laundry standards
• Checking that public areas, rooms, suites, equipment, and linen exceed guest expectations
• Maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment – while minimising waste – in support of our green initiatives
• Helping to refine and prepare budgets that help us maximise profitability
• Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIP Club members
• Assisting with deep cleaning projects and occasionally assisting your team during busy periods
• Educating all team members on the importance of remaining compliant with local laws, IHG brand standards and safety standards

What we need from you

• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal strong skills
• Business language and tools acumen
• Minimum 3 years in a Managerial role
• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/equivalent in hospitality or related field
• Direct Managerial experience over a team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
