Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Housekeeping Coordinator to join our team! Ideally located in Dubai Science Park, in the most sought-after residential area of Dubai, minutes from mega malls, Jumeirah Beaches, top tourist attractions, parks, autodrome, and golf courses. The hotel features 240 rooms and suites, 84 one-bedroom apartments, F&B outlets, and extensive meeting and event facilities.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Attend to the control desk telephone, facilitate communication within colleagues and between departments, and maintain administrative services.
  • Implement and maintain brand standards and SOPs.
  • Execute quality assurance programs and toolkits.
  • Ensure proper communication of all departmental information to maintain standards.
  • Accurately update room status in the system daily and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain administrative data and ensure cleanliness and proper repair of work areas and equipment.
  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene policies, and adhere to grooming standards.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Possess multi-skills, including Room Attendant duties and other Housekeeping areas.
  • Work effectively with diverse customers and colleagues.
  • Build positive relationships with internal teams and guests, anticipate needs, handle inquiries, and resolve issues.
  • Create a positive hotel image through every interaction.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, programs, events, and facilities to assist guests effectively.
  • Adhere to the InterContinental Hotel Group Code of Conduct and Housekeeping policies.
  • Report problems and suggest resolutions to management.
  • Follow OH&S policies, ensure safety procedures are followed, and operate equipment responsibly.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous administrative experience in hospitality or similar, ideally as a Housekeeping Administrator or Coordinator in a 4* or 5* hotel.
  • Telephone etiquette skills.
  • Experience with payroll and purchase orders is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills.
