Job Description

We are currently seeking passionate and dynamic guest-focused Housekeeping professionals who pride themselves on delivering extraordinary customer service and providing creative solutions to our guests.

Responsibilities

As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for daily assigned duties as instructed by Supervisors, while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Receiving work assignments, keys, and supplies from the supervisor and signing the key log book accurately.
  2. Cleaning rooms and bathrooms, performing duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies.
  3. Keeping fire exits and stairways clear of obstructions.
  4. Reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
  5. Picking up litter from corridors and pathways.
  6. Maintaining cleanliness of carpets, furniture, and fixtures, and polishing brass and metal surfaces.
  7. Making beds, cleaning sinks, bathtubs, toilets, tiles, mirrors, and floors.
  8. Replenishing bathroom and room supplies.
  9. Neatly arranging guest toiletries and spot cleaning carpets when necessary.
  10. Keeping guest corridors, service pantries, and areas tidy at all times.
  11. Removing Room Service trays and trolleys from guest rooms and corridors.
  12. Informing valet services for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.

Skills, Education, Qualifications & Experiences

Ideally, you should have vocational training within the Housekeeping Department of a hotel. A good command of English is advantageous.

Knowledge & Competencies

The ideal candidate will be friendly, caring, dedicated, culturally sensitive, and willing to put in extra effort when required. You should enjoy working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a passion for serving customers, and be able to work well with a multicultural team and guests.
