Overview

A Housekeeping Attendant will support all Housekeeping and Laundry with guest requests, analyzing each request and delegating between the team members so that work can be done in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified by the hotel brand standards.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Provide excellent guest service.
  • Assist with availability and release of rooms for guest service along with Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
  • Manage controls of the Housekeeping department, such as frequency of employees, release of master keys, and related duties including uniform and linen handling.
  • Check daily guest information in CRM to ensure preferences and requests are met on time.
  • Handle special requests (e.g., flowers for occasions) and related linen embroidery needs as appropriate.
  • Maintain monthly Lost and Found and donations records.
  • Check uniforms and arrange cleaning or repair as needed.
  • Coordinate and control all documents and people flow within the department; manage daily Laundry linen releases.
  • Process daily guest clothing releases for guests using the laundry service.
  • Close monthly Laundry expenses and provide related reports.
  • Reassign duties to cover holidays, days off, or absences as needed.
