The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the following tasks and others assigned by their departments as necessary:

  • Servicing daily assigned rooms as per MHI standards.
  • Providing helpful, friendly, prompt, and personalized service to guests (internal or external).
  • Attending to all guest requests within 10 minutes.
  • Ensuring hygiene, maintenance, and cleanliness of the area under control to meet hotel standards.
  • Managing keys to ensure safety and security of guests and hotel property.
  • Checking for any room discrepancies as per SOP.
  • Utilizing resources effectively.
  • Maintaining records related to the section and following up accordingly.
  • Depositing lost and found items at the housekeeping desk on the same day.
  • Coordinating with the minibar team for amenities and in-room services.
  • Maintaining equipment, carpets, and fixtures of the area under control.
  • Training general cleaning staff and other assigned employees.
  • Contributing to team cohesiveness.
  • Interacting with guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Handling chemicals properly, including dilution, use, and storage.
  • Taking measures to conserve energy and support environmental sustainability.
  • Adhering to grooming standards.
  • Coordinating with engineering, butlers, upholsters, and tailors to ensure cleanliness and perfection.
  • Carrying out inventory of assets.
  • Attending all training sessions as assigned.

Job Specifications:
