At SmartStay, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and reliability to our clients. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant.

The Role : Housekeeping Attendant

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Attendant is to maintain the apartments' cleanliness, hygiene, and outstanding presentation of our apartments. This role is central to providing guests with a pleasant and memorable stay, ensuring each property meets SmartStay's exceptional standards.

Responsibilities :

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces, as well as changing bed linens, replacing towels, and replenishing guest supplies.
  • Inspect apartments for damages and report any issues.
  • Communicate and follow protocols for lost and found items.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize cleaning tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests related to housekeeping services.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all assigned apartments.

Qualifications :

  • Previous housekeeping experience in hospitality, hotel, or holiday home environments is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to use mobile apps for following up on checklists and reporting maintenance issues.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
  • Must be available to start immediately.
