Job Description
Key responsibilities:
  1. Provide assistance to the guests during their stay and ensure the cleanliness of the guest rooms and public areas as per the hotel standards.
  2. Liaise with the Supervisor and Coordinator to ensure guests' requests are attended to in a timely manner.
  3. Take initiative to add a personalised experience for the guest.
  4. Take ownership of guests' privacy and belongings, while ensuring exceptional service.
  5. Personally supervise the end of day closing of the service area and ensure that all equipment is in the appropriate place and nothing is left around which can be hazardous.
  6. Proper stock of guest amenities, cleaning supplies, mini bar, and clean linen are arranged well on the trolley before starting the work.
  7. Conduct thorough inspections of assigned rooms to ensure they meet the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  8. Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the appropriate department promptly.
  9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  10. Assist with turndown service in the evenings, ensuring guests have a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  11. Maintain accurate records of cleaned rooms, restocked items, and any special requests fulfilled.
  12. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, particularly during high-occupancy periods or special events.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
  1. Service focused personality is essential.
  2. Previous experience in a similar role in a 5* hotel is an asset.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for service.
  4. Good communication skills with the ability to speak fluent English.
  5. Keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  6. Basic computer skills for logging completed tasks and communicating with other departments.
  7. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Knowledge of proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals.
