Job summary

Fairmont Ajman is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure guest rooms are clean, comfortable and welcoming, reflecting the hotel’s luxury standards.

You will clean rooms, replenish amenities, assist with laundry and public areas, and report issues promptly, while upholding safety and privacy. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential, with basic English communication. This is a full-time, on-site role at our Ajman property.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lifting.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Replenish guest amenities and supplies as required.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost & found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure trolleys and housekeeping equipment are clean, well-stocked, and properly stored.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Respect guest privacy and ensure confidentiality while servicing rooms.
• Assist with laundry duties, linen distribution, and public area cleaning when required.
• Deliver prompt and courteous service to all guests, anticipating and responding to their needs.
• Follow departmental policies, procedures, and grooming standards.

Job Description
