InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Administrator to join our luxury team in Dubai. You will coordinate daily housekeeping operations, update the PMS, and support payroll and inventory tasks, ensuring smooth room readiness and service delivery.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a 5-star hotel housekeeping role, with strong customer-service skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in a 5-star hotel housekeeping environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and communicate room priorities with Front Office.
• Update and maintain accurate room status in the PMS.
• Investigate and resolve room status discrepancies.
• Answer departmental calls and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Prepare daily reports, room assignment sheets, and productivity reports.
• Maintain housekeeping records and departmental documentation.
• Assist with payroll administration, attendance records, and scheduling.
• Raise and monitor purchase requests and maintain inventory for housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance requests and follow up until completion.
• Ensure all departmental communications are documented and distributed.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Adhere to IHG brand standards, health & safety regulations, and hotel policies.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with special projects and audits when required.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and communicate room priorities with the Front Office.
• Update and maintain accurate room status in the Property Management System (PMS).
• Investigate and resolve room status discrepancies.
• Answer departmental telephone calls and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Prepare daily reports, room assignment sheets, and productivity reports.
• Maintain housekeeping records, filing systems, and departmental documentation.
• Assist with payroll administration, attendance records, leave tracking, and scheduling.
• Raise and monitor purchase requests and maintain inventory records for housekeeping supplies.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance requests and follow up until completion.
• Ensure all departmental communication is properly documented and distributed.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, health & safety regulations, and hotel policies.
• Attend departmental meetings and training sessions.
• Assist with special projects, deep cleaning schedules, and audits when required.
