Job summary

InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain spotless public areas across lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and back-of-house spaces. You will respond to guest requests with courtesy, ensure supplies are stocked, and support the housekeeping team during peak times.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and a friendly, guest-oriented attitude, with a focus on safety and hygiene in a luxury hotel environment in Dubai Marina.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in recreation, guest service, or wellness-related roles, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, energetic, and guest-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, staircases, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
• Replenish supplies in public restrooms and ensure that amenities are fully stocked and functional.
• Immediately respond to guest requests or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the appropriate departments.
• Operate cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
• Support housekeeping team with additional tasks during peak periods or special events.
• Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and hotel standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance and demonstrate positive body language and demeanor.
