Job summary

Novotel Sharjah Expo Centre is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead hotel security operations, enforce policies, and ensure compliance with local regulations. You will train officers, oversee patrols, and manage on-site emergency responses with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in hotel security, strong English communication, and certifications such as SIRA Security Manager License, CPR, First Aid, and basic fire fighting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience preferably with a hotel security.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Good command of English in written and spoken.
• Understanding of hotel operations.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for supervising security officers and enforcing policies.
• Train officers in surveillance operation, reporting, patrols and first aid.
• Oversee security patrols, identify risks and address safety concerns.
• Develop and train hotel talents in firefighting and fire evacuation per local Civil Defence.

Job Description

• To undertake full responsibility of the security officers for supervising and to enforce security policies and procedures in accordance with Novotel guidelines and ensure compliance to all local regulations.
• Train security officers in the operation of surveillance equipment, written reports, record keeping, patrol and first aid procedures.
• Oversee security patrols, identify potential risks, and take proactive measures to address safety and security concerns
• To develop and train hotel talents in firefighting, fire evacuation as per local civil defence.
• Maintain communication as needed with the relevant Government entities i.e civil defence, police etc for scheduling of fire drills or in case of any security related matters.
• Manage on-site emergency responses, including fires, medical incidents, and safety hazards, while coordinating with appropriate teams.
• To investigate, review and follow up of all incidents, loss and accidents reports.
• Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the organization.
• Respects confidentiality in discussing talents and organizational matters; also maintains confidentiality of organization and personnel related information.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Certificates in SIRA - Security Manger License/ National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management and Basic Fire Fighting.
• With minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably with a hotel security.
• A good command of English in both written and spoken.
• Understanding Hotel Operations.

• The ability to multitask.
