Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in hotel is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor hazardous and unsafe situations
• Develop measures to assure personnel safety
• Facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines
• Assist in conducting risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
• Assist the Head of Safety to organize OHS training of employees and executives
• Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using protective equipment)
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes and advise on corrective measures
• Understand the operation of electrical refrigeration and Fire Fighting systems
• Communicate with different departments and to provide them with information and assistance
