Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Dubai seeks an experienced Safety Officer/HSE professional to lead and implement safety policies across our luxury property. You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits, and train staff to uphold health and safety standards for guests and colleagues.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a similar role, a degree in occupational health & safety (preferred), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar Safety Officer or HSE role.
• Good knowledge of health, safety, and risk management regulations.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to train staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures in line with regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
• Lead safety training sessions for employees.
• Investigate accidents and incidents with reports and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with management on safety improvement plans.
• Maintain records of safety incidents and trainings.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safety gear.
• Attend daily operational briefings and communicate safety standards.
• Provide guidance and feedback to staff.
