Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to lead day-to-day operations and uphold the brand's luxury standards. The role reports to the General Manager and requires strong leadership, strategic vision, and a proven track record in 5-star hotel management, with a focus on guest experiences, financial performance, and team development.

Candidates should have 10+ years in luxury hotels, GCC or international experience, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

  • Vocational Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Management or a Degree equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Director of Operations or Hotel Manager.
  • International experience with GCC and/or Dubai preferred.
  • Fluent English (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work with multicultural teams and build professional relationships with the Executive Committee, guests and hotel colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day hotel operations and act as Manager-in-Charge in the General Manager's absence.
  • Drive operational excellence across all departments and coordinate activities.
  • Partner with Division Heads to manage budgets and maximise revenue through cost control and commercial strategies.
  • Champion guest experiences by monitoring service quality and implementing improvements.
  • Track KPIs, quality assurance metrics, and guest satisfaction scores.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence and foster relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to strengthen processes and maintain brand standards.
  • Lead health, safety, risk management and sustainability initiatives.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through coaching and open communication.

Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai is looking for a Hotel Manager to join our team.

Job Purpose

The Hotel Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence across all departments. Reporting to the General Manager, this role provides strategic and hands‑on leadership to the hotel leadership team and colleagues, driving service excellence, financial performance, and continuous operational improvement. The Hotel Manager ensures compliance with company policies, brand standards, and all relevant regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer excellence. The successful candidate will have proven experience in luxury hotel operations, exceptional leadership and communication skills, strong commercial acumen, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences.

Duties
  • Support the General Manager in leading the hotel's daily operations and act as Manager-in-Charge in their absence.

Qualifications
  • Vocational Diploma in Hospitality / Hotel Management OR
  • Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in a 5‑star hotel environment.
  • Minimum 5 years hotel operations experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Director of Operations or Hotel Manager.
  • International experience with GCC and/or Dubai preferred.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English verbally and written.
  • Able to work with multicultural teams.
  • Able to communicate effectively and build professional relationships with the Executive Committee, guests and hotel colleagues.
