Job summary
Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking an IT Support professional to assist the IT Manager in operating and maintaining hotel computer hardware and software. You will serve as a secondary contact for servicing, manage asset life-cycle, and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity for technology within a luxury resort environment.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor degree and hotel IT experience, strong English communication, and a proactive, service-oriented mindset to support high-end guest
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in any related field.
- Previous hotel IT experience preferred.
- Strong guest orientation and conflict resolution skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
Responsibilities
- Assist the IT Manager in operating computer hardware and software installation and maintenance.
- Serve as secondary contact for servicing of computer hardware and software.
- Manage technology/asset life-cycle and ensure equipment is ordered and available.
- Responsible for disaster recovery and business continuity related to technology.
- Troubleshoot high-speed Internet access problems and escalate as needed.
- Maintain inventory and logs for hardware, software, and services calls.
