Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a luxury 5-star beachfront resort, seeks an IT professional to assist the IT Manager in daily hardware and software operations. You will support IT services across the hotel, manage asset life-cycle, and help enforce Sofitel IT policies to ensure secure, reliable systems.

The role requires hotel IT experience, strong English communication, and leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment. On-site position with opportunities to collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related field.
• Hotel IT experience preferred.
• Strong guest orientation and conflict resolution skills.
• Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills and leadership.
• Arabic, Russian or French language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT Manager in operation of hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Manage technology asset lifecycle and ensure equipment is ordered and available.
• Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity for IT.
• Troubleshoot performance problems and security concerns; monitor systems.
• Maintain inventories, logs, and configuration records for IT assets.
• Be in charge of IT Department in the absence of the IT Manager.
