Job summary

Aloft is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to uphold quality across guest rooms, public areas and facilities. You will inspect spaces after cleaning, verify room status, prioritize tasks and communicate changes to the team.

You will assist management with hiring, training and scheduling, coach staff, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, pool, etc. after cleaning to ensure quality standards.
• Run sold room reports, verify room status, prioritize room cleaning and update status of departing rooms.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining and motivating staff.
• Coordinate the efforts of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry; act as liaison between departments.
• Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk; communicate changes in room assignments and inform next shift.
• Complete required paperwork and ensure adherence to safety policies.
