Job summary

Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is seeking an Engineering General Technician to join the pre-opening team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house facilities, contributing to a smooth hotel opening and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a 5-star hotel.
• Good knowledge of general hotel maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting works.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Exposure to hotel openings is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, back of house and other facilities.
• Attend to maintenance requests, breakdowns and repairs promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure tools and work areas are kept in safe condition.
• Inspect equipment regularly and report defects to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
