Job summary

The Luxury Collection is seeking a diligent facilities technician to respond to guest repair requests and maintain hotel equipment at our Dubai property. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect systems, and assist with basic repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building components.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks with other teams, following safety protocols, and maintaining inventory and tools.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Inspect tools, equipment, or machines and locate and operate shut‑offs for building systems.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior surfaces and fixtures, replace bulbs and filters, and clean work areas.
