Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle seeks an Electrician to maintain electrical systems across hotel facilities. You will perform preventive and corrective work to ensure guest comfort and operational continuity.

You’ll diagnose faults, service lighting and power distribution, and coordinate with teams on renovations while upholding safety standards and documenting activities for accountability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma/certificate is preferred.
• 1–2 years of relevant electrician experience, preferably in large facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, UPS, and generators.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics and manuals.
• Solid health and safety knowledge and safe maintenance practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to identify electrical deficiencies.
• Install and service lighting fixtures, outlets, switches, panels, and wiring.
• Respond to maintenance requests and ensure safe, professional completion.
• Monitor emergency power systems and related safety devices.
• Coordinate with teams and contractors during projects and installations.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
• Identify energy efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
