Job summary

Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is seeking a service-oriented Bartender to join our hospitality team in Dubai. You will prepare cocktails, manage bar service, and ensure guest satisfaction in a dynamic hotel setting.

The role requires 1–2 years of bartending experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with POS systems. A high school diploma is required, with hospitality certification as a plus. Evening and weekend shifts are common in this hotel environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or lounge.
Good knowledge of cocktail preparation, beverage service standards, and responsible alcohol service.
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or bartending certification is an advantage.
Good English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and guest-focused approach.
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory control.
Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare beverages requested by guests using standard recipes and pourings.
Coordinate food service with restaurant for bar/lounge guests when applicable.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and identify when service should cease.
Follow safety protocols and report incidents to supervisor.
Set up bar with liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, and glassware; portion and store items.
Manage liquor inventory and secure cash and payments; balance drawer at end of shift.
Ensure bar areas and equipment are clean and compliant with standards.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and service.
