Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm, service-oriented Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. You will be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them warmly and ensuring a smooth dining experience.

Responsibilities include managing reservations, guiding guests to tables, maintaining knowledge of menus and hours, and coordinating with the service team. A hospitality background and excellent English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment preferred.
• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus as required.
• Maintain knowledge of hours, menus, promotions, and facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate seating with service team.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservations.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and inform the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate with Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
• Follow grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Outlet Management.

• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
