Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm, welcoming Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. You will be the first contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and coordinating with the service team. The role requires excellent English, a polished appearance, and the ability to stay composed during peak times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.
• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality with a passion for guest service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.

• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
