Job summary

NH Collection Dubai The Palm is seeking a warm Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a smooth and memorable dining experience.

You will greet guests, manage reservations, escort guests to tables, and cooperate with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional service while maintaining a professional appearance.

This role requires flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, in a welcoming, premium hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Warm, confident, and outgoing personality.
• Excellent written and spoken English; other languages a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Able to stay professional during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Manage restaurant reservations, guest arrivals, and seating arrangements efficiently.
• Escort guests to tables and present menus when required.
• Maintain accurate knowledge of outlet operating hours, menus, promotions, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor table availability and coordinate closely with the service team to ensure smooth seating flow.
• Answer telephone inquiries and handle reservation requests professionally.
• Recognize returning guests and special occasions and communicate relevant information to the team.
• Assist with guest requests, feedback, and concerns and elevate when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception and entrance area.
• Coordinate effectively with the Restaurant Manager, Supervisors, Kitchen, and service team.
• Follow hotel grooming, hygiene, health and safety, and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Outlet Management team.
