How does your working day look like …
- Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.
- Ensure knowledge of menu and all products.
- Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues.
- Practice 25hours Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.
- Assist callers courteously and promptly, taking messages as necessary which are legible and accurate, passing them on to the appropriate person without delay.
- Have a good knowledge of the restaurant's sitting arrangements.
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations, and all health and safety legislation.
- Perform any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
- Support the bus help in clearing and resetting tables.
- Perform all assigned side work.
- Handle special guest requests according to 25hours guidelines.
- Attend required meetings and trainings.
- Maintain regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by 25hours from time to time.
- Work within all pre-set budgetary limits.
- Comply with all 25hours Worldwide company policies.
- Follow all systems and procedures as laid down by the Assistant F&B Manager, GM, and 25hours Worldwide.
- The management reserves the right to change or extend this statement if necessary during employment.
- Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- The holder of this statement may be asked to take on additional tasks within a reasonable framework.
Qualifications
Your personality counts more than your CV …
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including appropriate staffing levels, service equipment, and guest relations.
- Ability to read and comprehend guest requests, memos, reservations, promotional materials, event orders, and similar written materials in English.
- Ability to speak English sufficiently to conduct small employee meetings and impart new information.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
- Ability to move throughout a crowded room to seat guests.
- Ability to effectively deal with customer complaints and concerns in a friendly and positive manner, demonstrating empathy and providing proactive solutions.
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- Prefer six (6) months to one year of previous serving experience; prior hospitality experience is preferred.
- Additional language ability is a plus.
