Job Description
Department: Entertainment
Main area: Multi-Court & Kids Club

As a Hostess in the Entertainment Department at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will be the first point of contact for guests engaging with our Multi-Court and Kids Club facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to handle all bookings and guest inquiries in a warm, professional, and efficient manner, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for families and guests of all ages. You will play a key role in promoting our entertainment offerings and maintaining a friendly and organized environment.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Welcome guests warmly and professionally to the Multi-Court and Kids Club areas.
  2. Manage daily bookings and reservations for all activities, events, and facilities within the assigned areas.
  3. Handle phone, email, and walk-in inquiries regarding Kids Club programs, court availability, schedules, and special events.
  4. Maintain accurate records of bookings and participant lists using relevant booking systems or software.
  5. Coordinate with the Entertainment and Recreation team to ensure smooth activity scheduling and guest flow.
  6. Provide guests with detailed information about entertainment programs, age requirements, safety guidelines, and facility rules.
  7. Monitor guest feedback and communicate suggestions or issues to the relevant departments for continuous improvement.
  8. Ensure a clean, inviting, and child-friendly front desk or reception area.
  9. Support in organizing and promoting entertainment activities when required.
  10. Comply with all health and safety regulations, especially those related to children and sports activities.

Qualifications
  1. Previous experience in guest service, reservations, or front desk roles (experience in hospitality or recreational settings preferred).
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages (especially Arabic or Russian) is an advantage.
  5. Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
  6. Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Experience with reservation or booking systems is a plus.
