Daikan Izakaya, City Walk is seeking an enthusiastic Hostess to enhance our guest experience. As the first face our guests encounter, you will set the tone for their visit and create a welcoming atmosphere. Your role will involve managing our seating arrangements, greeting guests, and maintaining a positive dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welcoming Guests: Warmly greet and seat guests, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere
2. Seating Arrangements: Coordinate reservations and manage seating to ensure efficient restaurant flow during peak hours
3. Menu Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with the menu and daily specials to inform and recommend options to guests
4. Customer Relations: Address any guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and attentiveness
5. Collaboration: Work alongside the service staff and management to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
6. Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep the host station and lobby area tidy and welcoming for guests
7. Health Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations to ensure compliance and create a safe dining environment

Requirements:

1. Prior experience as a hostess or in a customer service role is highly beneficial
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a bustling restaurant environment
4. Friendly disposition and positive attitude
5. Experience with reservation systems is a plus
6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
7. Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to providing outstanding guest service
