Role Summary

Silkhaus is looking for a strategic Hospitality Pricing Lead to own and optimize our pricing strategy across all markets. This role is critical to ensuring we remain competitive, maximize revenue, and maintain healthy margins in a dynamic and fast-growing industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pricing strategy, revenue optimization, and data modeling, and will work cross-functionally with product, operations, finance, and sales to implement scalable pricing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end pricing for a scaled short-term rental company with 500+ apartments across 3 markets.
  • Implement tailored pricing strategies that account for seasonality, unit type, neighborhood dynamics, and different lengths of stay (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Develop and execute OTA promotion strategies to optimize platform algorithms and enhance property visibility.
  • Leverage historical performance data and real-time market trends to define and adjust effective pricing strategies.
  • Monitor daily booking pace and property performance, making timely adjustments to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Utilize and optimize short-term rental pricing tools (e.g., Pricelabs, Beyond) to automate and refine pricing decisions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or strategy - preferably within the hospitality industry, online travel agencies (OTAs), hotel chains, or short-term rental platforms.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in forecasting and profitability analysis.
  • Ability to think strategically but also roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing or yield management systems is a strong advantage.
