Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Landscaping Supervisor to oversee hospital grounds maintenance and landscaping contractors in Abu Dhabi. The role involves inspecting sites, auditing quality, and ensuring contract compliance while coordinating with hospital departments to meet staff and visitor needs.

You will monitor budgets, prepare annual grounds budgets, and develop irrigation schemes for new areas, ensuring safety and aesthetic standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and audits to assess the quality and condition of the landscaping.
• Document findings and recommendations in detailed reports and provide feedback to the building maintenance manager.
• Ensure landscaping contractor complies with contract conditions, obligations and standards.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in landscaping.
• Supervise daily landscaping works, including control of contractor staff and verifying attendance.
• Coordinate with hospital departments and stakeholders to ensure landscaping meets staff, patient, and visitor needs.
• Follow CAFM requests from end users related to landscaping and schedule, and follow PPM for landscaping items.
• Evaluate and approve landscaping plans, designs and materials including additional works.
• Assist in staff orientation procedures.
• Prepare yearly grounds keeping budget and monthly reports for landscaping services.
• Prepare schemes of irrigation systems and landscapes of new areas, and monitor project budgets and schedules.
