OliOli Children's Museum in Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Part Time Hoppi Play Facilitator. You will engage with visitors, support immersive galleries, and help deliver memorable experiences for young children.

This role emphasizes welcoming families, supervising activities, and ensuring safety while wearing themed costumes and assisting with events like birthday parties.

Candidates should be energetic, customer‑focused, able to work weekends and holidays, and possess a valid visa.

Qualifications

• Excellent grasp of English; Arabic is a plus

Responsibilities

• Be an ambassador for the Hoppi brand; ensure that every visitors experience at Hoppi meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approach
• Provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of the exhibits areas and programs
• Contribute to a positive, team-based, and visitor-first centric culture
• Wear the mascot costume on special occasions
• Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities
• Lead our themed birthday parties for kids and wear costumes that match the themes
• Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions
• Follow and perform the daily opening/closing protocols and procedures including (without limitation) routine cleaning, restocking, and preparation of program materials
• Provide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for the children
• Assist visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situation
• Take ownership of the safety of the facility and report and follow up on any repairs, or changes needed
• Attend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures during Hoppi's hours of operation
• Lead field trips and interact with teachers and students in an age-level appropriate manner
• Work as a team to ensure that the entire building is highly presentable (clean, tidy, supplies in proper place)

About the job [Hoppi®] Play Facilitator - Part Time

WHO WE ARE

OliOli® was our first pioneering project - a childrens museum that redefined play and learning by creating immersive galleries for open-ended exploration. Building on this foundation, we are now bringing Hoppi® - a new play destination for families - coming soon to a new mall in Abu Dhabi.

Hoppi® is designed especially for children aged 2-8, combining active physical play experiences with engaging, hands‑on exhibit zones. It is a space where children can play, imagine, and explore, while parents enjoy a safe, enriching, and welcoming environment.

Hoppi® aims to be a beloved family destination in Abu Dhabi, adding joy, creativity, and playfulness to the lives of families.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS ALL ABOUT

Our Play Facilitators (better known as IMAGINATORS) are responsible for fulfilling Hoppi®s vision of creating awesome experiences and memories for children. Working within exhibit zones, Imaginators act as Hoppi®s brand ambassadors, with the primary objective of engaging with all visitors in an empathetic, thoughtful and joyful manner.

WHAT WE'LL TRUST YOU WITH

Visitors Experience and Service

• Be an ambassador for the Hoppi®brand; ensure that every visitors experience at Hoppi® meets or exceeds expectations, specifically through inclusive, culturally appropriate, positive and memorable interactions with a friendly and sincere approach
• Provide friendly, courteous communication by orienting them to the building and informing them of the exhibits areas and programs
• Contribute to a positive, team-based, and visitor-first centric culture
• Wear the mascot costume on special occasions
• Manage groups of children from schools, birthday parties, or camp activities
• Lead our themed birthday parties for kids and wear costumes that match the themes
• Collect and communicate visitors feedback and suggestions
• Follow and perform the daily opening/closing protocols and procedures including (without limitation) routine cleaning, restocking, and preparation of program materials

Exhibits area / Education

• Have an honest and comprehensive understanding of Hoppi®s philosophy and developmental, pedagogical, and other learning objectives
• Participate in training programs designed to enhance interaction with visitors in the Hoppi® manner
• Lead field trips and interact with teachers and students in an age-level appropriate manner
• Work as a team to ensure that the entire building (and each and every gallery/corner) within the premises is highly presentable (clean, tidy, supplies in proper place, well organized, properly maintained, etc)

Safety / Security

• Provide a safe environment for all visitors, specifically for the children
• Assist visitors in case of an incident or an emergency situation
• Take ownership of the safety of the facility and report and follow up on any repairs, or changes needed
• Attend training and be prepared to perform emergency procedures (i.e. fire evacuation, accident reporting, etc.) during Hoppi®'s hours of operation

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE

• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as it's our busiest time!
• Uniform/dress code is required
• Candidates should possess their own visa
• Excellent grasp of the English language. Arabic is a plus
