ROLE SUMMARY

The Animator – Picasso Arts & Crafts is responsible for delivering engaging, safe, and creative arts & crafts experiences for children, families, and guests within the Picasso studio environment. The role supports daily operations, guest engagement, workshop facilitation, inventory management, and safety compliance while creating an inspiring atmosphere that encourages creativity, self-expression, and memorable experiences. The Animator serves as both an entertainer and creative facilitator, guiding guests through a variety of hands-on artistic activities while ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

ROLE PROFILE

• Facilitate engaging arts & crafts workshops including fluid art, drip art, tote bag painting, tie-dye, ink art, resin art, and sculpture customization.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring creative environment that promotes self-expression, creativity, and artistic exploration.
• Support the daily operation of the Picasso studio and ensure activities are delivered according to established schedules, procedures, and brand standards.
• Welcome and engage children, parents, and guests while delivering exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiences.
• Guide guests step-by-step through creative activities while encouraging confidence, creativity, and participation.
• Prepare all materials, supplies, tools, artwork stations, and protective equipment before each session.
• Ensure guests use materials, tools, and equipment safely and in accordance with established safety guidelines.
• Support front desk responsibilities including guest inquiries, bookings, attendance tracking, and administrative tasks.
• Host and support birthday parties, special events, workshops, community activities, and studio experiences.
• Ensure artwork is accurately labelled, properly dried, packaged, and delivered to guests.
• Monitor facilities, tools, materials, and equipment while reporting maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, hygiene, and presentation standards across all studio areas.
• Support inventory management, stock monitoring, material usage tracking, and discrepancy reporting.
• Maintain stock levels of canvases, sculptures, paints, dyes, tote bags, shirts, resin kits, and other consumables.
• Follow health, safety, chemical handling, and incident reporting procedures at all times.
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally while ensuring timely resolution and positive service recovery.
• Support achievement of guest satisfaction, attendance, engagement, repeat visitation, and NPS targets.
• Participate in regular training sessions, meetings, coaching activities, and continuous learning initiatives.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, Entertainment Managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow operational procedures, service standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.
• Perform additional duties and assignments as required to support business needs.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-2 years of experience in arts & crafts, entertainment, hospitality, retail, education, creative workshops, or a guest-facing environment.
• Certificate, Diploma, or Certification in Fine Arts, Design, Arts & Crafts, Education, Hospitality, Creative Studies, or a related field is preferred.
• Passion for creativity, artistic expression, and delivering engaging guest experiences.
• Knowledge of arts & crafts activities such as painting, fluid art, resin art, tie-dye, sculpture decoration, and other creative techniques.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, energetic, and comfortable facilitating individual and group creative activities.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and guests.
• Strong understanding of workshop safety practices and the safe handling of paints, dyes, resin, and creative materials.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity, and safety standards at all times.
• Basic inventory management and operational administration skills are preferred.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and conduct active workshop sessions.
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and special events as required.
