Job Description: Registered Nurse

The following responsibilities are expected of the candidate:

1. Managing a patient's healthcare plan according to the physician's instructions
2. Bathing and grooming the patient daily
3. Checking temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and other vital signs
4. Administering and maintaining a record of all prescribed medication
5. Checking for infection, bedsores, and wounds in the patient
6. Educating and advising caregivers in the household
7. Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the progress of healing
8. Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with other healthcare personnel in the household
9. Providing palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
10. Making recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient's quality of life
