Job description

The RAK Academy Khuzam School is seeking a positive, driven, and inspirational History teacher to join a large, successful, and vibrant Humanities department. History is taught from Grades 6 to 8 to all students. In Grades 9 and 10, History is offered as an IGCSE subject option. In Grades 11 and 12, History is available as an option subject in both the A-level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in a Humanities subject.
2. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
3. Excellent understanding of teaching and learning.
4. Proficiency in using technology to support teaching and learning.
5. Ability to engage, motivate, and support students.
6. Reflective practitioner with creative and innovative thinking skills.
7. Positive, enthusiastic, and growth-minded team member.
8. Willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities.
9. Excellent communication skills.
10. Experience teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses (Early Career Teachers are welcome).
11. Training in UK Curriculum or International Baccalaureate.
12. Experience using Google Suite, e.g., Google Classroom.
13. Proven record of improving student outcomes.
