Job summary

Digby Morris Executive Search & Talent Acquisition is seeking a Construction Director for a landmark High-Speed Rail project in the UAE, leading civils and track delivery for a joint-venture programme between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

You will oversee site delivery, manage cross-functional teams, interfaces with clients and authorities, and drive safety, quality and schedule performance across multiple fronts.

Qualifications

• 18-20 years in large-scale infrastructure construction and delivery.
• Minimum 10 years in rail projects.
• PMP or equivalent certification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of a multi-billion-dollar civils and trackwork package across the high-speed rail corridor.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary scope including track systems and depots.
• Drive programme, productivity, sequencing, logistics, resources, cost, risk and performance management.
• Maintain robust contract and change control with the commercial team; administer contracts and changes.
• Lead a high-performing construction organisation with strong delivery culture, productivity and accountability.
• Ensure regulatory, HSE, quality compliance and safe site practices.
