Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced High School Math Teacher to join our team. As a Math Teacher you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students in grades 9-12 helping them develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive math lessons that align with the schools curriculum and standards

- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of students

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration

- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents

- Use technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged

- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies

- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities such as math clubs and competitions

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance grades and progress

- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns

- Stay updated on the latest developments and best practices in math education

Requirements:

- Bachelors degree in Mathematics or a related field

- Teaching certification or license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school math

- Strong knowledge of math concepts and ability to teach a variety of courses including Algebra Geometry and Calculus
