Job summary

Tanqeeb is hiring a Specialist Hematologist in Dubai to join a leading healthcare facility. The role involves diagnosing and managing benign and malignant hematological disorders and developing individualized treatment plans.

We expect a medical degree with postgraduate qualification in Hematology, DHA eligibility, and post-specialization experience. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential, with opportunities for career development and continuing medical education.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Hematology or a relevant specialty.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Post-specialization clinical experience at Specialist level.
• Strong knowledge of hematology diagnosis and treatment protocols.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign and malignant hematological disorders.
• Evaluate and treat anemia, coagulation disorders, thrombosis, and hematological malignancies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient response.
• Manage patients requiring chemotherapy, immunotherapy, transfusion support, and other hematological treatments, where qualified.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, blood films, and bone marrow studies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, and other specialists.
• Provide follow-up care, patient education, and counselling.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.
• Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
