Job Summary & Purpose

The Solar Photovoltaic Installer will assemble, install, and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Job Description

1. Installing & maintaining panels on the roof of a residential home or corporate office & for ground mount projects.
2. Assembles and installs solar panels, Solar Inverter on roofs and other structures.
3. Tests operating voltages; calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power limits.
4. Lifting heavy materials, climbing ladders and moving about on roofs.
5. Cutting, fitting and connecting multiple panels.
6. Performs routine maintenance/cleaning on PV systems and other related duties as assigned.
7. Required traveling to different sites all over UAE for troubleshooting system issues, operation & maintenance purposes, and solar off-grid/on-grid/hybrid system installation.

Requirements

Experience (Yrs & Field): Minimum 2 years’ experience in Solar panel fittings, Previous solar-related experience preferred.

Educational Qualification: High school or ITI Industrial Training.

Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of PV equipment and installation.
