Job Description

• Adhere to designated routes while being flexible to adapt to detours and road conditions, optimizing delivery schedules without compromising safety.
• Monitor weather conditions and traffic patterns to make informed decisions that enhance safety and delivery timeliness.
• Safely load and unload cargo, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to prevent damage and ensure efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status, delays, and any incidents that may arise on the road.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo documentation to comply with federal and state regulations.
• Execute precise backing and maneuvering techniques to navigate tight spaces and complex routes, ensuring minimal risk to other vehicles and pedestrians.
