The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in heat treatment processes and machine troubleshooting, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and high-quality outputs. This role is vital to maintaining the organization's reputation in engineering and fabrication within the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Heat Treatment activities.
• Work experience in reading any drawing and NDT requirements is an added advantage.
• Experience in report preparation.

Job description

We’re looking to hire Heat Treatment Technicians for our company Sigma Engineering Works in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out Furnace and localized Heat Treatment (HT).
• Able to interpret Heat treatment chart and prepare Heat treatment report.
• Knowledge on various Heat treatment machines
• Carry out trouble shooting of heat treat machines.
• Carry out visual inspections
• Follow approved test methods, techniques, procedures and work instructions
• Follow approved test methods, techniques, and procedures
• Interpret Industrial codes, standards, and specifications
• Review inspection results to determine if acceptable
• Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports
• Clean parts/materials prior to inspection and after the completion
• Ensure good housekeeping in the immediate workplace and surrounding premises
• Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
• Carry out Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) if qualified
• Carry out Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI) if qualified

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 Years’ experience in Heat Treatment activities
• Work experience in reading any drawing and NDT requirements is an added advantage.
• Experience in report preparation.
