POSITION SUMMARY
Our Utility Cleaners play an important role in supporting various hotel functions. They may work across departments such as kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to assist with cleaning needs. Responsibilities include preparing fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment (e.g., dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), and transporting dishware or linens across the hotel. Associates do whatever it takes to ensure cleanliness and support hotel operations.
Key responsibilities include creating a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, maintaining a professional appearance and communication, developing positive relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and reporting accidents or unsafe conditions to a manager. Physical requirements include lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and reaching overhead or below the knees, including bending and twisting. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
