Healthcare Billing Executive (OP)

We are looking for a detail-oriented Healthcare Billing Executive (OP) to manage and process outpatient billing transactions in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations. This role ensures accurate claims generation, timely submission, and effective coordination with insurance providers and patients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Generate and process outpatient bills accurately based on clinical documentation
2. Submit insurance claims through appropriate channels (e-claims portal, clearinghouses, etc.)
3. Verify patient insurance coverage, approvals, and eligibility prior to service
4. Follow up on rejections, denials, and underpayments with insurers and resolve discrepancies
5. Coordinate with front office, medical coding, and clinical teams to ensure billing accuracy
6. Reconcile daily billing reports, maintain patient billing records, and manage co-pay collections
7. Respond to patient billing queries and explain charges clearly and professionally
8. Ensure compliance with DHA/HAAD/MOH policies and payer-specific requirements
9. Monitor outstanding receivables and assist with AR recovery
10. Prepare periodic billing and collection reports for management

Requirements

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field
2. 2-4 years of UAE experience in healthcare billing with a focus on outpatient services
3. Strong knowledge of insurance processes, TPA portals, ICD/CPT coding, and billing software
4. Familiarity with UAE health authority regulations and insurance claim workflows
5. Proficient in MS Office and hospital information systems (HIS/EMR)
6. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
7. Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage
8. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
