Job Overview:

The Health Advisor (Sales promoter) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience in a retail pharmacy setting by providing expert advice on non-pharmaceutical products such as skincare, personal care, nutrition, cosmetics, and medical devices. The role entails achieving sales targets, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring operational excellence within the store. This position supports customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Experience & Sales

  • Greet and assist customers with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming pharmacy environment.
  • Provide knowledgeable advice on non-pharma products (Skincare, personal care, nutrition, baby care, cosmetics, medical devices, etc.).
  • Upsell and cross-sell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with empathy and problem-solving skills.
  • Support in maintaining high customer satisfaction scores through quality service.

2. Sales Achievement

  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets for non-pharma categories.
  • Actively promote new arrivals, promotional offers, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to enhance customer trust and loyalty.

3. Inventory Management

  • Ensure non-pharma items are always available, properly displayed, and merchandised as per standards.
  • Conduct daily checks for stock levels and communicate replenishment needs to the In-Charge.
  • Monitor expiry dates regularly and follow FIFO (First In, First Out) system to minimize losses.
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and reconciliation activities.

4. Operational Excellence

  • Follow pharmacy policies, hygiene standards, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure shelves and displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Support the pharmacy team in maintaining smooth daily operations.

  • Local experience preferred; international retail exposure is an added advantage.
  • Diploma or Certification in Pharmacy, Nursing, Retail, Sales, or Nursing is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
