Job description

Stevin Rock, the largest quarrying company in the region, is seeking an experienced and driven Health and Safety Supervisor to take full accountability for health, safety, and environmental performance across two of our major quarries.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Group HSE Manager and lead a team of HSE advisors and leads. You will be responsible for implementing and continuously improving HSE strategies, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international standards, and fostering a culture of safety excellence at every level.

Key Responsibilities

• Full site responsibility for all aspects of health, safety, and environmental management across two quarries.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HSE advisors and leads, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
• Oversee the implementation of Stevin Rock’s HSE strategy, drive continuous improvement, and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Conduct and supervise risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Deliver engaging HSE training and workforce engagement programmes.
• Prepare executive-level reports and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

• A proven HSE professional with experience in mining, quarrying, construction or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing safety team.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and international best practices.
