Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC seeks a dedicated HSE Officer to support the safe execution of oil & gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. You will promote a safety-first culture, ensure compliance with HSE plans, and lead on-site inspections and incident investigations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in HSE, a Bachelor’s or Diploma, NEBOSH IGC or equivalent, and strong English communication to coordinate with workers and management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in HSE with 1 year in construction/oil & gas projects.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certificate.
• Additional HSE trainings/certs are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety-first culture across all project phases.
• Conduct HSE orientation and awareness sessions for workers.
• Implement HSE plans, welfare plans, and site procedures/work instructions.
• Perform regular HSE inspections and audits on-site.
• Coordinate incident reporting and investigations with management.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSE Officer to join our team and support the safe execution of oil & gas EPC projects. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health, safety, and environmental compliance and will play a key role in promoting a safety-first culture across all project phases.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HSE in any industry, with at least 1 year experience in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations / production in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries.
• Must have a Bachelor Degree OR Diploma
• Must have a NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent certificate
• Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage

Skills and Competencies

• Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness sessions to workers
• Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
• Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
• Awareness of practical H2S control measures.
• Ability to conduct HSE inspections
• Ability to understand and implement incident reporting and investigation proceduresAbility to speak read and write English with good communication skills.
