Job Purpose:
Ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures on-site in compliance with ADNOC and UAE regulatory requirements. Maintain a safe working environment and promote a strong HSE culture during all phases of plant construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor site-specific HSE Plans in line with ADNOC Code of Practices (CoP).
- Conduct daily site inspections and ensure full compliance with ADNOC and company HSE standards.
- Ensure PTW (Permit to Work) system is properly applied and adhered to.
- Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training sessions for site personnel.
- Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop appropriate control measures.
- Investigate near-misses, incidents, and accidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Ensure all ADNOC-required documentation, reports, and HSE statistics are maintained and submitted on time.
- Coordinate with site supervision, subcontractors, and ADNOC representatives on HSE matters.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and ensure the availability of safety equipment and first aid facilities.
- Support emergency preparedness drills and ensure readiness of emergency response procedures.
- Participate in internal and external HSE audits.
Requirements:
- ADNOC-approved HSE Officer (valid approval number or certificate must be provided).
- NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in Oil & Gas construction projects, including ADNOC projects.
- Strong knowledge of ADNOC CoPs and UAE HSE regulations.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Proficient in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
