Job summary

SOLEC Solar Energy Systems in Dubai seeks a seasoned QHSE professional to lead the design, documentation and ongoing maintenance of the company’s QHSE management system aligned with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

You will communicate requirements across all levels, monitor audits, and advise the Managing Director on policies, outcomes and improvement actions to prevent injuries and equipment damage.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QHSE management practices and ISO standards.
• Ability to communicate QHSE requirements across all levels of the organization.
• Experience implementing and maintaining QHSE systems.
• Capability to monitor audits and report to top management.
• Commitment to continuous safety improvement and incident prevention.

Responsibilities

• Establish, document, implement & maintain QHSE processes per ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018.
• Ensure awareness and effective communication of QHSE requirements to all functions and levels.
• Oversee the Company's QHSE implementation and performance.
• Monitor, review and advise the Managing Director on QHSE policies and audit results.
• Ensure QHSE roles, responsibilities, policies, plans and objectives are understood by all personnel.
• Prevent injuries and damage to plant and equipment; investigate accidents and recommend corrective actions.
• Promote injury prevention and safety culture; circulate up-to-date safety information.
• Maintain records and analyze injuries, damage and loss; assess accident trends.

Job description

• Ensure that processes needed for the QHSE management system are established, documented, implemented & maintained in accordance to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018;
• Ensuring awareness and proper communication of the requirements of the QHSE management system to all functions and levels of the organization including customer requirements.
• Responsible for the Company's QHSE implementation.
• Monitors, reviews and advises the MANAGING DIRECTOR on QHSE policies implementation and results of the QHSE audits.
• Makes sure QHSE roles, responsibilities, policies, plans and objectives are communicated to all relevant personnel.
• Preventing injury to personnel and damage to plant and equipment.
• Determine the cause of any accident or dangerous occurrence and recommend means of preventing recurrence.
• Promote awareness of injury prevention and damage control to all levels of employees.
• Responsible for recording and analysis of information on injuries, damage and loss, assess accident trends and review overall safetyperformances.
• Keep up-to‑date with recommended codes of practices and new safety literature; circulate information applicable to each level of employees.
• NEBOSH Managing Safely certified.
