Job description

The Health & Safety Consultant will play a critical role in advising, implementing, and improving health and safety management systems. You will work closely with clients to ensure regulatory compliance, manage risks, and foster a positive safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to identify potential hazards.
  
• Develop and implement health and safety management systems aligned with regulatory and client-specific requirements.
  
• Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and provide detailed reports with corrective action plans.
  
• Deliver health and safety training and awareness programs to client teams.
  
• Advise clients on compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
  
• Support strategic planning by providing expert input on risk management and safety improvement initiatives.
  
• Monitor and track EHS KPIs, ensuring timely closure of action plans.
  
• Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, regulators, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Professional certification such as NEBOSH (mandatory), OSHA 30, CSP, CMIOSH, or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a health and safety consulting or advisory role.
  
• Experience working across EHS consultancy industries preferred
